Strike Droppoint is a folder with an original design, made of very good materials at an attractive price. Large automatic knife with protection against accidental opening.
Drop point blade finished in Stone Wash method from Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel. Elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife in conjunction with high, flat grind gives excellent cutting properties. The blade is set on Teflon pads supporting the opening mechanism, thanks to which you can efficiently unfold the folder with the press of a button. The whole is locked with a proven button lock.
AUS-8 - Japanese steel with high corrosion resistance, good impact strength and high hardness (can be hardened to 59 HRC). Guarantees a very good price/quality ratio.
Handle - chamfered facings of black aluminum. Surface of cover plates with fine texture, which improves grip security, additionally milled deeper cuts. The whole is mounted to a stainless-steel frame. To stiffen the construction, they are screwed with spacer sleeves thanks to which we get characteristic Open Spaced construction. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. In the rear part of the handle there is a lanyard hole for a safety or decorative cord. In the upper part you will find a notched support: thumb ramp (spine jimping) making precise work much easier. Next to the blade release button you will find a safety slide to prevent accidental opening. Two-position right-handed metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up or tip-down position.
